A group of mental health professionals from our congregation who meet on a needs basis to deal with times of stress and crisis in the lives of our youth — pre-adolescent, adolescent and young adult.
Rabbi Schecter uses his discretion in calling upon members of this group when situations are so warranted.
Tzedakah Committee
The idea of a "Tzedakah Committee'" grew from ongoing discussions six years ago at Temple Board Meetings about how our congregation participates in Tzedakah or social action.
The Tzedakah Committee focuses on ways in which members of the congregation can participate in various Temple-sponsored Tzedakah projects. The Committee also observed that many members would like to participate in various forms of Tzedakah but could do so more easily if the avenues of participation were better known and made more accessible.
We invite any member of our temple community to join us.
Education Advisory Committee (EAC)
A recently formed group of Board members and congregants to help facilitate positive changes in the Religious School.
The committee meets regularly with the Education Director to discuss the school program and relevant issues. The Religious School Handbook is updated every Fall and lists the names and emails of the members of the EAC so parents may email a member directly.
