Beginning Hebrew Reading

Mondays 7:45 - 8:30pm.

For those with little or no reading knowledge of Hebrew, this course introduces you to the Hebrew alphabet and familiarizes you with the main prayers of the Sabbath and festival services.

Intermediate Biblical Hebrew - Prayers & Ceremonies

Wednesdays 7:15 - 8:00pm

For those who are already comfortable with Hebrew reading, this course helps you learn:

• Special prayers like the Kiddush, the Aliyah (blessings over the Torah), and recurring songs from the Sabbath service
• The Passover Seder, so you can either follow or conduct your own Seder.

Beginning Biblical Hebrew

Wednesdays 6:20 - 7:15pm

This course is for anyone who can read Hebrew who would like to understand what (s)he is reading. We use a wonderful text that is easy to follow. By the time we reach the end of the book, you will be able to read the Hebrew Bible in the original and understand it.

Intermediate Biblical Hebrew

Mondays 8:30 - 9:30pm.
