Clothing
Your child needs a complete change of clothing to be kept in school in their personal box (2’s) or bag (3’s and 4's) at all times. If soiled clothes are sent home, replace the used clothing items immediately.
Please follow the attached list of "School Supplies".
LABEL EVERYTHING. When picking out daily school clothes, allow for your child's comfort and freedom to engage in messy art projects and outdoor adventures in possible wet, mud, snow, etc. Do not send your child to school wearing a costume or clothing that will in any way inhibit their ability to play. School shoes should be rubber soled (sneakers) for safely climbing, running, and pedaling. The children will play outside daily, unless it is raining too hard, extremely windy, or bitter cold. In warm weather, children should wear closed toed shoes, as sandals may be uncomfortable for outdoor climbing and play; please apply sunscreen before arrival. Be sure your child is dressed appropriately for winter weather with boots, mittens, snowpants and hats, for outdoor play. For safe keeping, mittens should be attached to the jacket or sewn to a length of elastic that can be slipped through the sleeves of the jacket. Slippers or sneakers should be worn in the classroom after boots are removed during the winter.
YOUR CHILD'S NAME MUST BE PRINTED ON ALL CLOTHING AND BELONGINGS.
