Orientation

On Thursday, September 8, 2011 we will have a Parent Orientation/ Back-to-School Night from
7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for our nursery school parents. Our school year commences on
September 12 for our 3's and 4's, and on September 21 for our 2's.

Orientation is begun on the child's first visit, and will continue until the children and teachers get to know each other well. The "phase-in" procedures for each class are enclosed in this folder. Please be sure to check you child's schedule.

The first real challenge that each child will meet is their separation from Mom, Dad and/or Caregiver, and the building of trust in their teachers. Each child will handle this differently, and together we will establish a partnership of parents and teachers to insure that every child receives the comfort and attention they need to successfully accomplish this important transition.
