New Year Holiday Planning
Tekiah . . . Attention 4th, 5th and 6th Graders!
Would you like to sound the Shofar at the Yom Kippur Early Childhood Service? Cantor Robin will teach the traditional Shofar blasts and will meet with all interested on the first day of Religious School — Sunday, September 11th — at 1:00 p.m. Each student will receive a Shofar to use and practice. To reserve your Shofar, contact the office: 478-3833 or info@tbshastings.org.
High Holiday Childcare
Our Childcare Program now provides drop-off coverage. Adults must sign children in and out of the designated downstairs classroom. Temple Beth Shalom Nursery School staff will supervise age appropriate holiday activities. Please note that when in the outdoor play area, children must be accompanied by their adult. We look forward to celebrating the Holidays together!
Important Message from the Ritual Committee
Roger Scheiber will again coordinate the ushering schedule for High Holiday services. Look for a call from Roger if you’ve already volunteered. Not already an usher, but interested? Call the office! We are also looking for usher volunteers for services throughout the year.
