Teacher Assistant Program - Grades 9-12

Our Teaching Assistant (T.A.) program is the pride of our religious school. These dedicated teens who assist our religious school teachers in the classrooms are indispensible in helping to facilitate classroom activities. Our 9th through 12th graders aid classroom teachers with everything from Hebrew tutoring, arts and crafts, discussing a story from the Bible, and implementing a history lesson.

T.A.s may request to assist in any of our Sunday, Monday or Wednesday school sessions and receive either payment or community service credit for their work. Ongoing training and meetings to process the T.A. experience are incorporated into their schedule to give our teens the support and skills they need to thrive in the classroom. Mostly, the camaraderie that they gain from working with their peers and the confidence, accomplishment, and satisfaction that they receive from the adoration of their students, make this program a jewel in the crown of our Religious School.
